June 20, 1849

Mary Brewster, THURSDAY [June] 21st [1849]: “The weather has been very foggy the last few days so we could hardly see. Early this morning got another whale. Weather thick and very foggy. Latter day cleared up. Saw 3 ships and plenty of whale, all is smoke and confusion on board –“
