21st December, 1847

Mary Brewster, TUESDAY [Dec.] 21st [1847]: “Steering NE carrying all sail. Saw two sail — one standing to the Northward, the other to the southward. This evening wind hauled ahead and blowed very strong. Sails reduced to a close reefed Maintopsail and foresail.   LAT. 42.55   LONG. 52.11….”

Mary Lawrence did not make any journal entries from Dec. 1 – 24, 1858.

Eliza Williams did not make a journal entry for this date in 1860.
