November 26 and Godey’s 1876

Mary Brewster did not make any journal entries from Nov. 16-20, 1847.

While staying at Honolulu for six weeks, Mary Lawrence did not make any journal entries from October 16 – November 29, 1858. Her journal entries will resume on Nov. 30.

Eliza Williams did not make any journal entries between Nov. 18-24, 1860.

Fig. a. Dinner dress of violet silk and metalasse. The underskirt is silk, trimmed with a plaiting and puff; the overdress has a court train; apron front, trimmed with fringe., passing over the back, fastened by a bow. Basque bodice, elbow, elbow sleeves. Fig. b. Walking dress of elephant wool damasse. The underskirt is trimmed with a wide bias band of plaid silk, edged with narrow plaitings.  The polonaise is trimmed with plaid, and fringe. Velvet bonnet. Fig.c. Walking dress of light brown silk and matelasse, the underskirt of silk. Polonaise of matalasse, made very long, and trimmed with bands of Oriental embroidery and fringe, waist trimmed to match. Matching velvet bonnet. Fig. d. House dress of blue silk; plain underskirt, the polonaise buttoning over one side, and trimmed with narrow braid forming stripes and a knotted fringe; pocket on left side. Fig. e.  Evening of white illusion, with train, of figured silk gathered in puffs and fastened with clusters of flowers. Pink silk corset waist; low neck, with bertha and sleeves of illusion.
