31st October 1847

Mary Brewster, Sunday [Oct.] 31st [1847]: “The wind blowing fresh with rain, double reefed topsail and furled mainsail, ship heading about south. Towards night wind increased. Took in fore and mizen topsails and Jib. A ship in sight supposed to be the Dover.”

Mary Lawrence (1858) made no journal entries between October 16 – November 29, 1858; while staying at Honolulu.

Eliza Williams (1860) made no journal entries between October 19 – 31, 1860.
