September 14, 1858

Mary Brewster did not make a journal entry for this date in 1847.

Mary Lawrence, [Tues.] SEPTEMBER 14 [1858]: “Clear, bright and pleasant. Have been expecting through the afternoon to see the island of St. Paul, but as it has not been quite clear in that direction, we have not as yet seen it. 6 P.M. Heard the sound of ‘There blows!’ from aloft, but they proved to be finbacks.”

Eliza Williams did not make any journal entries from Sept. 13 -16, 1860.
