9th June [1847 and 1858]

Mary Brewster, [Wed.] JUNE 9 [1847]: “Nothing of much note has occurred today, and were it not for my husband I should not often write but I think it will interest him when he arrives to read at some future time so I will keep on — “

Mary Lawrence, [Wed.] JUNE 9 [1858]: ” “A pleasant day but no whales. Two ships in sight. Wind ahead, and we are beating our way towards Thaddeus, as the ice is so thick in the sea that is is impossible to get through it.”

Eliza Williams did not make any journal entries from June 5-13, 1860.
