Mary Brewster, SUNDAY [Oct.] 15 [1848]: “Light wind from ESE and cloudy, sun shining at intervals. The ship astern some ways. So we outsail her which is worthy of note, ’tis not likely we shall do it again the voyage, for few are the crafts but what sail better than the Tiger

Mary Lawrence, [Sat.] OCTOBER 15 [1859]: “Cloudy and some rain with a head wind. Some part of the day we could nearly head our course.”

Eliza Williams did not make any entries between October 14 -25,1861.
